Polymarket Arbitrage Bot FAQ — Risk, Custody, Fees
Answers to every common question about the Polymarket Arbitrage Bot: is arbitrage risk-free, do you custody funds, where is Polymarket allowed, what about Polygon gas, and how the bot handles partial fills and leg risk.
- Is the $7.62 minimum guaranteed per trade real?
- Yes — but it's a floor, not a ceiling. We never publish a signal that doesn't clear $7.62 of net edge after Polymarket's taker fees on $1,000 of capital. Many signals clear $20-40+. The math is locked the moment both legs fill at our price; resolution can't take it from you.
- How is 40ms possible when competitors are ~800ms?
- Three reasons: paid Polymarket API tier (most bots use the free public endpoint that's heavily rate-limited), co-located scanner near Polymarket's relayer, and signed-batched FAK orders submitted in a single network round-trip rather than serial leg-then-leg.
- Is this risk-free?
- No financial product is risk-free. The spread we lock in is mathematical, but you still face resolution disputes, partial fills below the minimum, and execution timing risk — which is precisely why latency matters. We document every risk in the disclosure.
- Do I need to give you my keys?
- No. The bot is non-custodial. You connect your own wallet, we send signed transactions to your wallet for approval, and your funds never leave your control.
- Where is Polymarket trading allowed?
- Polymarket geo-blocks 30+ countries including the United States (with a separate CFTC pathway), the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Australia. Read our geographic restrictions overview before depositing.
- Is PolyArb affiliated with Polymarket?
- No. PolyArb is an independent project. We use Polymarket's public APIs and do not represent or have any business relationship with Polymarket.
- What chains do you support?
- Polygon (chain ID 137) only — that's where Polymarket lives.
- Do you store my wallet address?
- No. We do not custody funds, store private keys, or ask you to sign anything. The only data we keep is your email, Telegram handle, and the on-chain transaction hash you submit at checkout.
